The metro (U-Bahn) station located directly next to Stephansdom is Stephansplatz Station, served by lines U1 and U3. There are no trams and very few bus services, because this part of Vienna city centre is mostly a pedestrian zone – the U-Bahn is by far the best transportation option. However, it is easy to walk from Stephansdom to most other landmarks and places in Vienna Inner City.
