Stadtpark is one of the largest parks in Vienna city centre. Stadtpark Station on U-Bahn line U4 is located at the south-western end of Stadtpark, near Lothringerstrasse, Heumarkt, Parkring, and Johannesgasse.
There is a wide choice of hotels near Stadtpark Station. This area is a popular place to stay, thanks mainly to its location, public transport access, and of course the park. Some of the best hotels are situated at Parkring, which is a section of the Ringstrasse, the circle street running around the Inner City. Most of these hotels serve the upper end of the market (mostly 4 star or 5 star hotels).
If you want a wider selection of hotels in the lower price categories (3 star hotels, 2 star hotels, and even hostels), it is better to look near one of the other U-Bahn stations close to Stadtpark. The best one is Landstrasse/Wien-Mitte Station, located near the north-eastern end of Stadtpark on Landstrasser Hauptstrasse, 1 stop by U4 from Stadtpark Station.
