Resselpark

Resselpark is a large park situated directly at Karlsplatz in Vienna. It is one of the many green areas in Vienna city centre. Karlsplatz

Karlsplatz is a big square and U-Bahn station in Vienna city centre, at the border between Innere Stadt (1st) and Wieden (4th) districts. Its main feature, besides Resselpark and the metro station, is the above mentioned St. Charles Church.

How to get to Resselpark and Karlsplatz

The best way how to get to Resselpark and Karlsplatz is by public transport, especially metro. There are three U-Bahn lines at Karlsplatz (U1, U2, and U4), as well as numerous trams and bus lines. In fact Karlsplatz underground station is quite huge and spreads from the edge of Resselpark under a section of Kärntner Strasse up to the building of Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper). Tram stops are located both at Karlsplatz (next to Resselpark) and in front of the Staatsoper building.
