Through U1 Leopoldau has direct metro connection to Vienna International Centre (VIC, or UNO City, Kaisermühlen Station), Donauinsel, Praterstern and Prater Amusement Park, Stephansplatz, and Vienna State Opera. Wien Leopoldau is also a railway station, serving mostly regional trains and S-Bahn.
Leopoldau Station is very far from the city centre (about 20 minutes by metro on U1) and has very little tourist infrastructure and very few hotels.
