The building of Austrian Parliament is often also referred to as Parlament, Reichsrat, or Reichstag. It is situated on the Ringstrasse in the western part of Vienna Inner City, neighbouring several other landmarks and important places: Rathausplatz and Vienna City Hall in the north, Volksgarten in the east, and Schmerlingplatz in the south. The streets behind the Parliament building (to the west towards Josefstadt) include Reichsratsstrasse, Stadiongasse, and Doblhoffgasse.
Hotels near Vienna Parliament building range from 3 star to 5 star hotels (4 star hotels are probably the most frequent). Good hotel locations around Austrian Parliament are especially the streets around Rathaus U2 Station (in Auerspergstrasse, about 4 minutes walk from Parlament) and the area around Volkstheater Station and Museum Quarter.
There are also many great hotels on the other side of Ringstrasse (towards the middle of Innere Stadt) – around Hofburg (Imperial Palace), Burgtheater, or Herrengasse U3 Station.
If you walk a little bit further (10-15 minutes), you will come to another very popular hotel district: Stephansplatz, Kärntner Strasse, and Vienna State Opera.
Regardless of the exact location in Vienna Inner City, it is highly recommended to book accommodation well in advance, particularly when you are not flexible with the dates of your stay in Vienna.
