Donauturm: the tallest structure in Austria

Donauturm, or the Danube Tower, is currently the tallest structure in the whole Austria. Its total height is 252 metres, although it is of course not possible to jump from the very top. But the steel ramp situated 152 metres above the ground is a guarantee for an intense bungee jumping experience.

Bungee jumping at the Donauturm

You are standing at the ramp reaching 8 metres out from the tower’s observation deck and you are virtually almost flying above the Austrian capital. From the height all the city’s famous monuments including the Stephansdom or the Prater Ferris Wheel look like small toys. You can see as far as 80 km away from the Donauturm.

After just one little step you are flying for real, falling straight down along the Danube Tower’s slim body. You can bring your friends or family along to watch you or even make a video of your jump.

Donauturm bungee jumping practical info, price, and contact

The bungee jumping at the Donauturm is operated by Jochen Schweizer from Germany every year for several days. The dates are announced on his website. You will also find useful information regarding the conditions you must meet and the details of the process on the website, which is unfortunately only in German. The best is probably to contact Jochen and his colleagues directly – the contact information is also available on the website. The bungee jumping price at the Donauturm is about EUR 150.
